Passion for Pink

Who doesn't have a passion for the color PINK?  With so many shades, it is difficult for me to pick which one is my absolute favorite.  For my wedding, the FI has made it clear that he really "doesn't care" what our colors are, as long as he doesn't have to wear pink.  Our compromise + my resolution?  MAUVE. Lol.  I've reassured him that mauve is not pink, and that is more of a shade of "lavendar" or "lilac", as opposed to pink. 

With pink as my favorite color, I couldn't have my wedding without it.  As Shelby says in one of my favorite movies of all time {Steel Magnolias}, "Pink is my signature color."

Hi.  My name is Jomylene {pronounced joe-my-LIN}.  I came up with JOMYGOODNESS so I could offer blog readers with some insight on my passions, which include: weddings + events, entertaining + etiquette, paper + colorful palettes, fonts + flowers, typography {fonts} + party themes, DIY projects + cool finds {from vendors + venues, to restaurants + boutiques}...

My goal is to make this blog a daily thing.  That's right, daily.  That may be difficult, considering I have a number of projects to juggle.  First, I am a mother of a 5-year-old boy named Joel, who has just begun kindergarten.  I have volunteered to be a part-time room mother + on the PTA.  Secondly, I cooridinate events with one of my best friends, Kristina Dizon, for our company Signature Soiree, which is a southern California event management boutique.  Our motto is: "your scene, your style, our specialty".  Thirdly, I design any + all types of paper goods with my twin sister, Collette, + our company PaperBreezy.  Lastly, I am amidst planning my upcoming nuptuals {scheduled for September 2009} with my son's father {+ my best friend, my love, + my #1 fan}, Oscar Pezzullo.  There's so much in store... so enjoy!
