
This is for the ladies... It's my birthday today, so I thought I would mention a drink that I consider very femme and a must-have for any cocktail party. It's called the Mascara Fizz, and it's courtesy of Food & Wine. I never leave home without mascara {ok, almost never}, and I suggest that you don't go through this holiday season without this drink.

Coat the rim of your champagne flue with a 1/2 oz maraschino cherry syrup & dip in the superfine sugar to create the SWEET rim. Sprinkle the bitters over the sugar cubes. Add the cherry liquer, maraschino cherries, and remainder of the maraschino cherry syrup to the flute. Top off with champagne & sugar cubes. |
