I watch a bunch of movies, and whenever there happens to be any sort of wedding-related scene involved, Joel & Oscar turn to me as if I planted the movie into our DVD player specifically for that reason. As if I were that sneaky. Anyway, I thought I would start a series featuring some of my favorite wedding/event-related scenes from movies. Since selecting a dress, to some people, is as important as saying "I Do", I thought I would kick off the series with Carrie Bradshaw's Vogue wedding dress photoshoot, where she was lucky enough to try on dresses from the best in the business - - Carolina Herrera, Oscar de La Renta, Christian Lacroix, Vera Wang, & of course, Vivienne Westwood!
Not everyone is as lucky as Carrie Bradshaw to be able to try on stunning dresses on a typical Wednesday afternoon with your besties. Now, how did you go about selecting your dress? What was your dress selecting process like? Whose opinion is most important to you? Which dress brought that tear to your friends' eyes?
lovely! ever since i saw the movie, i am looking for a full body photo of that beautiful oscar de la renta dress on carrie! still haven't found!!!
